The M6H and M6H2 are magnums, featuring average rates of fire, good accuracy, and high damage, making them ideal weapons to use within the multiplayer sandbox. Being headshot capable, both incarnations are very proficient at taking down unshielded targets with headshots. While the M6H was relegated to a sidearm role in Halo 4, the M6H2 would later become Halo 5: Guardians' starting weapon.
