Persia IX is a human colony world under the administration of the Unified Earth Government. The planet was the homeworld of future Spartan-IV defector Rudolf Schein and his father Dr. Schein. In 2524, the UNSC quelled a rebellion on the colony, during which Rudolf's mother was killed in a crossfire by UNSC troops.[1]
