Cruiser was a class of Forerunner warship. The cruisers were sufficiently powerful that four ships combining firepower were able to overwhelm the defenses of a Halo installation.[1]
Service history
Several cruisers were part of the fleets defending the Capital during Mendicant Bias' attack. Combined fire from four of the ships destroyed one of the original Halo rings under Mendicant's control.[1]
After holding the Ur-Didact prisoner, the Gravemind placed the Promethean commander aboard a cruiser headed toward Faber's makeshift fleet of war, ensuring the former Master Builder would find him there. Upon discovering the Didact was aboard the ship, Faber had the cruiser towed to a research center.[2]
