- "Oh, no... Please don't shoot. I'll do...anything!"
- — Comm Duty Officer responding sarcastically to Sadie Endesha's fake threat.
This unidentified communications duty officer is an employee of the New Mombasa Police Department. During the Battle of Mombasa, she was in charge of communications between the UNSC Navy and Marines.[1]
Biography
When Sadie Endesha and Mike Branley arrived in the NMPD headquarters building, the Duty Officer was on the phone with Captain Veronica Dare. Dare ordered the officer to turn the Superintendent back on, but the officer refused after Dare threatened to fire her in the midst of a Covenant invasion. Sadie tried to trick the duty officer into reactivating Vergil; specifically, Sadie pretended that a stapler in her pocket was a firearm. Although the officer knew that it was a trick, she reactivated the Superintendent nonetheless. Her status following the battle is unknown.[1]
