Nightfall is the fourth track heard on the Halo: Reach Original Soundtrack. It contains the songs Recon, Searchlights, Personnel Issues, Keeping What I Steal, Howling Dark, and At Dawn.
Appearances
The soundtrack is heard throughout the fourth campaign level in Halo: Reach, Nightfall. The musical section Searchlight is played multiple times in other campaign levels, once played in the bomb arrival cutscene during Long Night of Solace and another time in the ninth level The Package, during the cutscene in which Noble Team is introduced to the Babd Catha Forerunner complex.
Firefight
This song's intro can be heard in some firefight missions. One includes Installation 04. It can be heard in some rather than others.
Trivia
- The soundtrack bears some resemblance to "Under Cover of Night" from the Halo: Original Soundtrack.
- The track Keeping What I Steal is a reference to Cortana's Halo 3 quote "Keep what I steal," and how the player uses UNSC weapons stolen by the local militia. It is also a reference to the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack song Keep What You Steal.
