In Amber Clad is twelfth track in Halo 2: Original Soundtrack, Volume 1.
Overview
The piece begins with a violin section until, at around 0:14, when much of the band begins to mix in. Then, at about 0:29, a drum sets in with a guitar. This continues on until approximately 1:23, except the guitar continues on and finishes the piece.
The piece is a spiritual sequel to Under Cover of Night from Halo: Original Soundtrack, featuring similar instruments and melody for its strings part.
Appearances
A percussion-only version plays in the Halo 2 campaign level Delta Halo, when John-117 commandeers a M12 Warthog after clearing the landing zone. The full version of the track plays later in the level during the chapter "Off The Rock, Through The Bush, Nothing But Jackal".
Reorchestrated versions
It is reorchestrated into the following:
- The bass line of Duty Bound in Roll Call of Halo 3: Original Soundtrack.
- Trapped In Amber of Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.
