The Côte d'Azur Museum of Natural History was a museum in the coastal city of Côte d'Azur on the planet Sigma Octanus IV.[1]
The museum had the appearance of an Athenian temple, with white marble steps and Ionic columns.[2]
In 2552 during the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV, the Covenant attacked Côte d'Azur in hopes of attaining a Forerunner artifact on display in the Museum of Natural History. The museum, once captured by the Covenant, was guarded by two stationary plasma turrets along with a hundred Jackals. Guarding the artifact itself however was a pair of Hunters. Despite these defenses, SPARTAN Blue Team, led by the Master Chief, was able to recapture the museum and secure the Forerunner artifact.[3]
The museum was destroyed when Blue Team detonated a HAVOK tactical nuclear warhead in Côte d'Azur.[4]
