Alexander "Alex" Christian Irvine (born March 22, 1969) is an American fantasy and science fiction writer. In the past, he has worked on Alternate Reality Games like The Beast and was part of the writing team that created the Halo 2 promotional game I Love Bees. Irvine's other contributions to the Halo universe include Something has Happened in Tales from Slipspace and the fourth issue of Halo: Rise of Atriox. On March 6, 2018, 343 Industries announced Alex Irvine as the author of the three-chapter mini-series, Halo: Collateral Damage.[1]
Background
Alex Irvine has written more than thirty books, both his own original fiction (Buyout, The Narrows, Mystery Hill, A Scattering of Jades) and licensed work for Marvel, Hasbro, Warner Brothers, Fox, Blizzard, Legendary, and other international entertainment companies. He has also written comics (Daredevil Noir, Iron Man: Rapture, Hellstorm, Son of Satan: Equinox), games, and animation.
