A Spoonful of Blamite

A Spoonful of Blamite is an achievement in Halo: Reach.[1] To unlock this achievement, a player must kill 10 enemies in either Firefight or campaign with a supercombine explosion. This does not mean simultaneously; the player merely has to kill any 10 enemies with supercombine explosions without dying at any point between the first kill and the tenth.

Trivia

  • Needle explosions from the Needler and the Needle Rifle count as supercombined explosions. The ammunition for the Needler and Needle Rifle is referred to as "Blamite" by Bungie.[2] The name "blamite" comes from Bungie's method of censoring swearing on their forums, which replaces objectionable words with -blam!-.
  • This achievement is unlocked the same way as Fear the Pink Mist in Halo 3 and Pink and Deadly in Halo 3: ODST. The only difference is that Fear the Pink Mist in Halo 3 requires only 5 supercombine explosion kills.
