I thought maybe it was an ultra, but the thing is, it clearly has spec ops armor, whereas ultras in MCC have the default armor with the white color. :It looks like it's just an Unggoy Ultra. As far as I can remember, they didn't appear in Halo: CE/CEA, so perhaps Saber recycled the SpecOps armor instead of re-modelling the Ultra from Reach. To have a very clear answer, you might have to check what armor Grunt Ultras wear in other levels. Imrane-117 (talk) 18:47, 12 December 2014 (EST)
:i know this is an old talk but maybe some ultras are attached to spec-ops units and those ultras are given white spec ops armors because that model is better adapted for those missions than the standard ultra model. --Zen-158 (talk) 23:06, 26 October 2015 (EDT)

I'm just wondering what we do for ranks like this, where some of them sided with the Elites during the initial breakout of hostilities on High Charity (see the level Gravemind). Basically, I don't think affiliating them with the Swords of Sanghelios is appropriate, as it is now clear that that faction didn't come into existence until after the events of Halo 3, hence why I removed the reference to them as being in the SoS. Fleet of Retribution isn't appropriate either. I'm thinking of going with something like 'Sangheili-led forces' or something like that. Would like to see what the consensus for this is. Other ranks such as the Unggoy Minor and Major also have this problem - we know they helped the Sangheili during the Gravemind and Uprising levels of Halo 2, but on the level High Charity as well as during Halo 3 they are allied with the Covenant. Any assistance is appreciated :) ArcticGhostXCV (talk) 18:12, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
:I never actually got around to editing a lot of the rank articles when I edited the rank section for the Swords of Sanghelios. How I've been handling it: We gotta' see the rank in use with the SOS past March 2553 for it to count. If it's not on the SOS page feel free to remove SOS from their affiliation.Sith Venator (Dank Memes) 20:30, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
:Thanks for the assistance, going to start looking over the ranks now.ArcticGhostXCV (talk) 21:18, 13 April 2017 (EDT)
