::::Ok, I like the grouping of minor/major ranks into the infantry group, but wouldn't that mean the Drone Minor/Major would be grouped into that infantry group as well. I thought I should inform you that the images used to replace the top banner that was originally the space elevator scattered over the savannah has a minor problem. A splice line straight through it. Also, the image over the Sidebar is simply underlayed with the Master Chief image. I'd recommend reverting until you can figure this out because of now, I'm not gonna lie, it looks pretty awful. {{Signature/Ghost sangheili}}

What I am saying is exactly what you are saying, with the exception that certain 'unneeded' material be left alone. This material is previous information that was posted to determine its relevancy to the article. I suggest it be left there so no one else in the future asks the same question, i.e. you determine that the fact that Pelicans share similarities with the V-22 Osprey is irrelevant to the Pelican article in the talk page, then I would say leave that discussion there so another user does not ask that same question later. If you leave it there, then perhaps that user will see it before editing, thus preventing the whole thing from repeating itself. Saves the admins some time, as well as other users. ::Regarding the rendering errors: I'm guessing IE 8 doesn't use hte latest version of HTML, so Firefox or Chrome will automatically end tags and the right places, but IE 8 is more literal (hey, it's Microsoft), so it needed the closing span tags. I suspect I'm not the only one. Just thought I'd fix it. I do have both browsers, but Chrome sometimes can't access Google or Youtube, so I stopped using it. And I don't like the way Firefox looks, and haven't gotten around to customizing it yet. But I suspect I'll change soon. I heard somewhere that even though this site is worldwide, it is to use convnetional spelling such as 'center' instead of 'centre', and the 'u' found in some words such as 'honor' was to be omitted. If I recall correctly, you were discussing it with another user on a talk page and stated that even though the user was 'right' for adding the British version of the word (I suppose that is the technically correct dictionary here), the American version was to be used. I could be wrong, but I know for sure someone high up here was saying that. Point is the convert template says 'metres', and to me, that makes me want to pronounce it 'mee-trees' instead of 'mee-turs'. I have no idea why, but it's the first thing that pops in my mind. I kept reverting the template to fix that. ...Subtank...I'm not getting ANY emails whatsoever from Halopedia. No digests, no changes to my followed pages, nothing. I verified my preferences settings, and they all allow for emails to be sent to my email (which is correct), and I am still following pages, and I even looked at one of the pages I follow to see if, for some odd reason, no one made changes to all of the 300+ pages I follow. There have been many changes. What's wrong? I've had this problem for several weeks, but I've been really busy, so I never got around to posting my inquiry here. ::You'll have to elaborate...which part exactly are you referring to? According to my preferences, every option that handles email is checked. I have it set to notify when changes are made to pages I'm following, when moved, deleted, etc., and I verified that I'm following pages. I checked my ISP email, and as I expected, nothing was there. Is there any way we could implement a system with the Appearances template similar to the Era template? Just to inform you, I've started rearranging some of the image categories into a more coherent and specific system, largely based on [[W:c:Starwars:Category:Images|that of the Star Wars wiki]]. Undoubtedly, this will take time and work, but I felt that our old system was cumbersome and obsolete.
