Mesa was a human colony planet. At some point during the Human-Covenant War, the Covenant's Fleet of Particular Justice under the command of Thel 'Vadamee attacked and glassed the planet.[1] After the Covenant War, in 2557, Ram Chalva led a salvaging operation on Mesa, locating several Kodiaks and a piece of Forerunner technology beneath the planet's glassed surface.[2]
