The Orenski family resided on the human Outer Colony of Harvest. April Orenski was born on June 18, 2508 to a pair of high-ranking officers of the United Nations Space Command. Due to her parents' careers, April felt compelled to service in the UNSC military and attended the Corbulo Academy of Military Science, an Officer Candidate School on Circinius IV.[1]
When the planet was attacked by the Covenant in 2526, April was one of the only three survivors among the colony's residents.[2] In 2526, April Orenski was unaware if her parents had survived the Covenant's attack on Harvest in 2525.[1]
