Forums: Index Community Proposal Halo Archive partnership
Forumheader-image.png

The Halo Archive is interested in expanding their partnership with us. Here is their proposal:

The Archive is entering a new phase of development. With our community more stable than ever, more resources than ever, and more going on than ever, we'd like to expand upon our current partnership. We've got several Halopedia staff members and even admins on the Archive.

While we do have a partnership, we would like official permission to use resources from Halopedia to work on articles, videos, and more. With this partnership we would spotlight Halopedia in all works we cited from Halopedia. We would love to have the favor returned by spotlighting the Archive on Halopedia.

Furthermore, we are fully willing to provide a full platform to discuss all things Halo and Halopedia for you all. We already have our Halopedia improvement center and many other resources. If you'd like, we could set up official Halopedia boards for your members to discuss and improve upon Halopedia.

I've informed them that they are free to use our content, partnership or not, per our license as long as they include a list of our contributors or link back to the article. As for the questions of us linking to them more and using their forums, it would rely on our wiki editors to actually add the links and/or use the forums, so I'm leaving it to the community to decide. --User:Porplemontage/sig 06:02, 7 September 2016 (EDT)
