It's something I've been thinking about for quite some time. What about a section "In other languages" like on Bulbapedia, with some notes explaining the translation(s) (sometimes they aren't even consistent from one media to the other...)? I assume we could have at least one or two languages covered. Here's an example for the main template, and the one for displaying the meaning of words is here. We could choose to display the template in a collapsible way, if it looks awkward. The template may be added to point out whether a name or a title is a translation, an anglicism, the same term as in English, a completely different term, etc. We don't have to add it on every single article, and have all languages covered, I don't consider that as an indispensable project.

A counterargument would be to say, well, if folks want to know that, they just need to go to one of the "international" versions of Halopeda/Halo wikia. But, 1) most of these sites are dead, or not really updated anymore, 2) they don't provide any insight in this specific topic, and even if they did then if I don't speak their language I'm not going to understand their explanation (hence the need for the "Tt" template I've linked above), 3) The goal is not to copy/paste the foreign term for an item without understanding its meaning, the subtlety of its translation, sometimes even the possible mistake in the translation process... If nobody speaks Russian here, then don't start adding it. Also, it's not just a matter of translation or being familiar with the language. People who complete this template should know if the term is always the same in every media translated in this particular language, or if it's inconsistent between games and novels, from one game to the other, etc.

Also, don't forget the goal is to keep this as simple as possible (a line in a table, basically). I just intend to "borrow" the three-column template linked above, as I think it's the best layout. Imrane-117 (talk) 07:48, 11 June 2016 (EDT)

I think it's a good idea. Though, personally, I prefer Wookieepedia's template. It takes up less space on the side and thus wouldn't look as out of place on smaller articles. Example of it in use on the left hand side. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 09:43, 11 June 2016 (EDT)
