Ranger Commander is a Sangheili military rank used within the Warzone simulation.
Gameplay
Ranger Commanders will appear in Warzone. They are accompanied by a small squad of Sangheili Rangers. Killing one will award the team 25 VP, and earn the player a Boss Takedown medal.[1]
Trivia
BOBs, a class of gold armored Sangheili Rangers hidden throughout the Halo: Reach campaign, have also been identified as "Ranger Commanders".[2]
