Reunion

Reunion is the seventh campaign level of Halo 5: Guardians. Completing the level grants the player the achievement "Together Again". Traversing the canyon section in Reunion without a Phaeton on Heroic difficulty grants the player the achievement "Take a Hike". Destroying the Phantom at the Covenant camp on Heroic difficulty grants the player the achievement "No Witnesses".

WAR WAS IN THE GATES

John-117: Where are we?

Kelly-087 (COM): No comm traffic on any band. No neural range uplinks at all.

Linda-058 (COM): Long way from nowhere then.

John: We were brought to this location for a reason. Search ahead.

If the Chief stalls:

Kelly (COM): We should move. We aren't going to find any answers standing here.

The Spartans head forward into the Forerunner facility ahead. As the Chief heads up the ramp leading into the structure, a Forerunner console assembles itself ahead of them.

John: Console lit up as I approached.

The console plays a sound familiar to the Spartans - Oly Oly Oxen Free.

Kelly (COM): What was that? It came from the console.

Fred-104 (COM): How many use it then since we used that signal?

John: Access the console. It's Cortana.

The Chief activates the Forerunner console. It descends back into the floor from where it assembled. The platform the Chief and Blue Team are standing on moves downward towards the path on the other side of the structure. At the same time a large, circular Forerunner building visible through the window in front starts to activate.

John: Cortana. Cortana, do you read me?

There is no answer.

Kelly (COM): No response.

The lift continues downward and eventually stops at the start of a grass covered path leading ahead.

Kelly (COM): What is this place?

Linda (COM): Forerunner planet. Beyond that, who knows.

John: Wherever we are, Cortana brought us here. She's out there somewhere.

Fred (COM): Chief, back on Meridian - there was a lot of destruction. There were civilians.

John: I know.

Kelly (COM): She may not have known what would happen.

Linda (COM): And if she did?

John: We'll learn what's going on when we find her.

The chief continues down the path ahead.

Kelly (COM): This place is incredible.

Fred (COM): Gives me the creeps.

Linda (COM): Bio-readings are unlike anything we've previously averted. There's a formalness and precision to it all. It seems...artificial, but still organic.

Kelly (COM): Halsey would have already started taking samples.

Fred (COM): She'd have probably figured out the exact co-ordinates of this planet by now.

The Chief continues to head along the path, passing a cliff edge.

Kelly (COM): Accessing that console activated that large structure. Given the signal we heard, do you think she's over there?

John: It's possible.

If the Chief encounters the dead grunt:

John: Dead Grunt. What are Covenant doing here? Stay alert.

The Chief proceeds ahead to a ledge blocking their view of the canyon below. As they do so, they can hear the voices of Grunts and Elites.

If the Chief encountered the dead Grunt:

Fred (COM): There's the rest of the Covenant.

John: Ready up Blue Team.

If the Chief did not encounter the dead Grunt:

Fred (COM): Sounds like an Elite. What the hell are the Covenant doing here?

John: Ready up Blue Team.

Blue Team eliminate all hostiles.

Linda (COM): What are the Covenant doing here?

Kelly (COM): They seem confused. I don't think they've been here long.

The Chief and Blue Team proceed into the next canyon, where more Covenant await. A Phantom is dropping off reinforcements.

John: More hostiles. Ready up.

The Phantom flies away as Blue Team eliminate all the Covenant.

Easter Eggs

• Seven pieces of Mission Intel can be found on the level.
• The Talon of the Lost needler can be found on this level. When you encounter the second group of Covenant, climb the rocks on the right and look for a crack in the rocky floor.
• The Pool of Radiance fuel rod cannon can also be found on this level. Before crossing the energy bridge that will trigger the second cutscene, climb the rocks on the left. You will find the weapon against the cliff wall at the back.
