Visor color is a customizable feature on a Spartan's helmet, part of the armor permutations in Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians. As with all armor permutation options, visor color is purely cosmetic and has no effect on gameplay.

Trivia
- In Halo: Reach, Emile-A239 and Jun-A266 both have reddish orange visors and Jorge-052 has a dark red visor. Neither of these colors is available to the player.
- In Halo: Reach, the GUNGNIR helmet has no external visor plate. Instead, customization changes the color of the helmet's camera lens.
- In Halo: Reach, changing the visor color of the Haunted helmet will instead change the color of the skull inside it.
- The description of the black visor in Halo: Reach states, "You can have it in any color you want... as long as it's black." This is a reference to a quote attributed to Henry Ford, speaking about the Ford Model T in 1909.
- The description of the silver visor in Halo: Reach is a reference to the ODST term "Dropping feet-first into hell."
