This article is about the jetpack featured in Halo 4. For the jetpack in Halo: Reach, see Portable jump-jet.
The Series 12 Single Operator Lift Apparatus, more commonly known as the jet pack, is a UNSC jump jet pack designed to propel its operator vertically for a brief period of time. It is developed by Lethbridge Industrial.[1] Although it is designed specifically for Spartan-IV supersoldiers, it is also utilized by Marines.[2] The Series 12 jet pack is attached to the back of infantry body armor by a gravity mitigation device.[3]
