Template:Weapon The Heavy Machine Gun-38 (HMG-38) is an automatic weapon that was formerly used by the UNSC Marine Corps. As of 2525 these weapons were obsolete, though they were popular on the black market. HMG-38s were commonly used by the Eridanus cell of the Insurrectionists.[1]
Trivia
Though the weapon's name indicates that it is a heavy machine gun, its appearance and usage are more akin to man-portable rifles. Its heavy machine gun designation may be based solely upon the cartridge it fires.
