Meadows was a Marine stationed aboard UNSC Spirit of Fire. After the Battle of Arcadia, Meadows's squad participated in a game of basketball with Spartan Red Team; however, Meadows and Douglas-042 got into a fight, resulting in three of the Marine squad suffering injuries. After the incident, Meadows required an ocular implant.[1]
