Platform interface skin was a piece of personal armor issued to Forerunner weapon platform specialists, worn to ensure peak mind-machine synchronization.[1]
As of Fleet-wide Memorandum 2/5, all weapon platform specialists were required to wear platform interface skin at all times.[1]
