The Commando Unit is a Sangheili special operations group of the Covenant military and later the the Arbiter's breakaway faction.[1] It is part of the Special Warfare Group. Its operatives were equipped and issued with the superior-quality and lighter-weight Commando harness compared to the standard-issue combat armor.
