Chu'ot is a large, gas giant orbiting the star Y'Deio in Covenant space, around the size of Neptune. Eayn, the Kig-Yar homeworld, orbits this planet. The planet is cold and devoid of life. Chu'ot is located within the inner region of the system's expansive asteroid belt.[1]
Chu'ot was the only known Covenant-occupied planet that humanity had cataloged before first contact with the Covenant. Its name, according to human astrographic naming conventions, is HD 69830 d.[2]
