Biography
In 2558, after the attack by Prometheans, Captain Lasky ordered lieutenant James to move Infinity far enough away from Requiem that the Prometheans couldn't translocate onto the ship. James informed him the controls weren't responding and that Infinity was locked in place. When Jul 'Mdama sent Requiem for a collision course with a nearby star, Fireteam Majestic and Fireteam Crimson were sent after the remaining artifacts keeping Infinity anchored to the planet. After Majestic and Crimson deactivated their respective artifacts, Lt. James was finally able to move the Infinity away from Requiem.[2]

In March 2558, James was present onboard Infinity during Fleet Admiral Terrence Hood's diplomatic mission to Ealen IV. During the peace talks, Infinity lost communication from the surface. Unbeknownst to them, the delegation had come under attack by Covenant remnant forces. James alerted Commander Bradley that Chieftain Lydus' fleet was bearing down on the Arbiter's fleet in response to the communications block. Bradley immediately ordered James to move Infinity in between their fleets. Captain Lasky managed to reestablish communications and told all fleets to stand down and direct their ships to the planet in order to save their diplomats. The fleets rallied with Infinity and forced the Covenant mercenaries into retreat.[3]
