Metarchs were a class of hyper-advanced ancillas created by the Forerunners to serve the Council. They were so exclusive that only five were in existence at any given time.[1] Enormous ancilla networks known as metarchies were coordinated by a metarch.[2] The most advanced level of metarch was the Contender-class, an example of which is 05-032 Mendicant Bias.
