The M6H was in service as an officer's model[1] as early as 2526.[2][3] It was made the standard-issue sidearm of all UNSC Defense Force personnel in 2555.[4]

- Cosmetic differences, modified reloading sequence, and altered firing sounds.
- Less damage to shields, requiring five shots to disable shields instead of four.
- Higher accuracy/less bloom.
