| The '''EMP''' medal is medal awarded in the [[Halo 3]] campaign and [[Halo 3: ODST|Halo 3 ODST]]'s campaign and firefight modes. It is awarded for removing a Brute, Jackal or Engineer shield with a [[Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol|Plasma pistol]] or a [[Power Drain]], then quickly killing the opponent. It is represented by a 16-sided gold star with a green orb in the middle.
