A grenade is a hand thrown anti-infantry, or anti-vehicle weapon, and can be both as well. They are activated by the user, and then thrown toward the target(s)
Grenades in the Halo universe include:
- Covenant Type-1 Antipersonnel "Plasma Grenade"
- UNSC M9 HE-DP Grenade
- Brute Type-2 Antipersonnel Fragmentation "Spike Grenade"
- UNSC Flash-Bang Grenade or Stun Grenade Same use push throw and boom
- UNSC Sonic Grenade
- UNSC Napalm Grenade
- Brute Type-3 Antipersonnel/Antimateriel Incendiary "Firebomb Grenade" Upon direct hit it burns the enemy until it dies
