A grenade is a hand thrown anti-infantry, anti-vehicle weapon. They are activated by the user, and then thrown toward the target/s.
Grenades in the Halo universe include:
- The Covenant Plasma Grenade
- The UNSC M9 HE-DP Grenade
- The Spike Grenade
- The UNSC Shield Grenade - Not a grenade but looks and is activated like a grenade
- The Flash-Bang Grenade or Stun Grenade
- The Sonic Grenade
- The Napalm Grenade
