This article is about the powered exoskeleton. For the Covenant anti-air cannon nickenamed the "Mantis", see Type-27 Anti-Aircraft Cannon.
The Mantis is a powered exoskeleton used by the UNSC Defense Force.[1]
Overview
Standing roughly twenty feet tall, the Mantis is similar in appearance to the larger Cyclops Mark II. It features a large-caliber rotary cannon on the right arm and five rocket pods on the left arm. The Mantis is also equipped with energy shields.[2] At least one Mantis was aboard the UNSC Infinity when the ship came across Requiem in 2557.[1]
