Ender the Xenocide's board-to-board with Tacitus
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Yeah, the infobox was cleaned up a while ago (you might want to use the format on the template page instead of the outdated one still found on most pages) which is why the excess stuff doesn't even show up. But you're right about the name - the prefix isn't necessary in the infobox.
About the Locus page, I don't think it's best to have the whole title "MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Locus" in the name field of the infobox. I would prefer just "Locus", for several reasons. Firstly, I don't recall from where the custom of having variant names prefixed by "MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/..." comes from. I always just assumed it was a result of how the encyclopedia pages work, i.e., titles with "PageOne/PageTwo" functioned as subpages of "PageOne". But if you do know where the prefix comes from, let me know. Second, even if it is the case that such prefixing occurs in canon, I would still feel that including the whole prefix would amount to redundancy, whereas armor variants are commonly referred to just by "X" and not "MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/X".
(P.S.) I just noticed the excess information I've been copypasting from the infobox code that you removed. I'll work on cleaning them up from the rest of the armor variant pages with an infobox.

Where are you getting these awesome images of the Mark IV? Is it a spoiler? If so don't tell me. But if not, where can I see this?
If there's enough info available to make it a proper article I guess you can go ahead and make it. No guarantee everyone will agree though.
Should the GRD helmet have its own page? I know not much is known about it, but we could add some secondary information... like how it is similar to Recon or Bungie Armor. We could also add info about the teddy bear easter egg. The permutation itself is only mentioned once in an image on the Armory page but I feel that there is more we could do with it, like a physical description on its own page, and maybe even a history if there's enough info. As for the acronym however, I have no idea, but I found terms like "Ground Resolved Distance", if that means anything relevant.
Yeah, if you want the same thing on two separate pages I think you'd have to make it into a template. Though it's easier to just copy the table from the Kig-yar page.
So for example I want to transclude the Skirmisher Ranks table from the Kig-yar page onto the Skirmisher page. Would I have to create a whole new unique template that consists of the table or is there some premade general-use template that can display the table automatically?
It's possible to transclude content from one page to another within the wiki if that's what you're asking; the most common example being templates, or transclusion from subpages like in the Data Drop article. If you mean transclusion into the wiki from pages other than this wiki, however, I don't think that's possible. At least I've never heard of or seen something like that being done.
