I appreciate wanting to clean something up, but your edit was full of formatting and grammar errors. For instance, make sure any citations go after punctuation rather than between a word and punctuation.

i.e. like this: "...lorem ipsum,{citation}" rather than "...lorem ipsum{citation},"

It's all good. And it probably was a typo on Bungie's part, but it's uncertain given that it's a quote from a character.
