YOU CAN PLAY HALO ON THE INTERNET!!! Here's some RVB fighting you can watch w/o spoilers. [[1]] [[2]] [stuff, then action] [w/ less plot]
Yeah, I don't think it could be done in vanilla Halo as is. It'd need a new gametype or gametype options to be added.
As for RvB, I actually havne't been keeping up with that.
S10 EP22 WILL make you cry|http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?id=6014&v=more)
It might be interesting, yeah. A good party game. Are you asking if that could be done without modding or honor rules? If so, no. A little tibit, I actually did that in this one flash game.
I have been sitting on an idea for a while. I thought of a gametype where, if a player dies in slayer, he/she respawns on the enemy team. I am thinking about flood, just two sided and in slayer. What do you think and is there a way to do it?
Here's an idea that would be more useable, a gravity gun that pulls your opponent towards you while you're firing and doing average damage. If you're above the target, it lifts him up. Pulling from that forum on weapons, oh no my shelds are down, better get to cover, what!!! that guy has a grav gun!!! There's a BR/DMR/LR and he's gonna get it!!!!
I agree one hit would be OP, I just didn't think a gun that doesn't kill would make it. It might let enemies get away. How did I start that conversation? Thanks.
It's right here. It's on the site. You started this conversation based on somethingI posted on it. As for the TP gun, that actually would be pretty cool. BUT, I think it shouldn't kill enemies. It wouldn't be useless, you could drop them off cliffs or throw them far enough away from you that you can escape. I'd say a one hit would be OP. With no damage it makes it a kinda zany weapon that takes a little bit of smarts to use.
I thought it would have to be in the line of fire. Like Shooter---Target---Destination, not Destination---Shooter---Target, maybe it would face them away from you too if it doesn't kill in one hit. This idea did not come from Portal 2 or the Halo 4 campaign. TPing a falcon would be fun as it EMP stuns it. Also, a shield would be nice, you could shoot it and damage enemies or hold it in an overcharge like mode that drains with time and damage. Both guns would have a charge up, of course. I would like to see this weapon wish list.
Does sound sorta cool, though how do you set either end? Also, you should probably post this in the weapon wish list.
How about a slipspace portal gun? It creates a slipspace field that sends players a distance away and desintigrates them, if you or an ally goes through, it's a one time use teleporter. Vehicles on either side can only go through overcharged versions that are larger and EMP those nearby. Tanks are destroyed after a period.
I think the incredibly disturbing spike thing would be really fun. Imagine fighting a falcon with a massive corpse chain. I sorta imagine the motion of attacking with it as casting a fishing hook.
By all means, theoretical physics for the win.
I'm thinking the design flaws would be the massive power source and possibly being killed by the radiation. I was thinking it was theoretically possible with slipspace stuff, but the technology wasn't advanced enough. Though.... I've thought that possible explanations for weapons that operate on rule of cool was that a super advanced race was advanced enough that they used them for basically super paintball. They they would have such advanced armor, that stuff that'd be lethal to us even in armor could be blocked by their version of those nerf vests. Still far fetched though. Precursors just happened to make their theme parks out of not neural physics? :P
A big stik with a socket at the end. Prime a grenade, stick it in the socket, and a time warpy field thingy or whatever slows down the eplosion. Now, go around and hit people in the face. With an explosion. You can also cancel the field and shoot the explosion in the direction of an enemy. that would be awesome! that could maybe kinda be canon with forerunner slipspace stasis fields like the one used on the primordial. maybe. now go tell 343i that for halo 5. we NEED a new gravity hammer thingy. gravity slows down time too, eureka! (GPS would be 6 more miles off every day if they weren't reset because satellites are farther away from earth) well it's the curvature of space-time that matter creates that slows time and makes gravity. want me to write about the 4th dimension next?
Oh crap, I thought I responded to thisalready. :P derp. Ok, so to respond, decreasing the range is a nerf, if you only read the last page you should know that both the story is still updating and that none of the later stuff makes sense if you don't read from the begining.
The Boltshot didn't get nerfed, they just halved the range so you can't kill from twice the distance of the shotgun it used to have an effective range of 20-25 meters, now it's 10-15 meters, just like everybody else. I just played colagulation on Halo installation 05, even though it would be better to call it installation 2 for Halo 2. I agree w you on hard light weapons and shields, but I meant the oversight on laser light, it should pass through, just like your armour's appearance and that prophet the arbiter is so gracefully energy swording. Jul mdma, your gods shields don't stop light, here is how you can fix it and make all your elites not be able to see anything, literally. I bet they'll want you to shoot their shields so they can see you and that laser that would have killed them 3 seconds ago.
