'''Victor 933''' was a [[United Nations Space Command]] [[Pelican]] dropship attached to the {{UNSCShip|Pillar of Autumn}} in [[2552]]. When the ''Autumn'' was shot down over [[Installation 04]] that year, Victor 933 escaped intact, and was used by the [[Marines]] of [[Alpha Base]]. It appears however, that the Marines did not take any of the heavier weaponry, such as the shotguns that can be found on easy.

It was sent out with [[Second squad (Pillar of Autumn)|second squad]] and [[Captain (Navy)|Captain]] [[Jacob Keyes|Keyes]] in hopes of finding a [[Covenant]] weapons cache. A supporting Pelican dropped off [[Fire Team Charlie]] later on. Twelve hours after the last transmission from the Pelican, the [[John-117|Master Chief]] dropped into the swamp aboard [[Echo 419]] and found the wreckage of Victor 933. Apparently, the Pelican had been ambushed on takeoff and crashed. Victor 933's crew then apparently escaped the wreck and the [[Flood|unknown hostiles]] that had downed the Pelican, but were most likely overrun.{{Ref/Novel|TF|Chapter=8}}
It was sent out with [[Captain]] [[Jacob Keyes]], [[Staff Sergeant]] [[Johnson]], and a few other Marines (including [[Private]]s [[Wallace Jenkins]], [[Bisenti]], and [[Manuel Mendoza]]) in hopes of finding a [[Covenant]] weapons cache. Twelve hours after the last transmission from the Pelican, the [[Master Chief]] dropped into the swamp aboard [[Echo 419]] and found the wreckage of Victor 933. Apparently, the Pelican had been ambushed on takeoff and crashed into the swamp. One of the pilots managed to record a last message, in case anyone found the dropship:

The recording is loudest in the back of the passenger bay, by the cockpit.
 
The vessel was likely shot down by the [[Flood]] with repurposed heavy weapons, as implied by the recording saying: "attack by some kind of <u>hostile</u>-(static)-It <u>isn't [[Covenant]]</u>.

*In earlier builds of Halo: Combat Evolved, the emergency transmission by ''V933'' emits significantly less static, allowing for most of the transmission's dialogue to be heard in full.
*In the level ''[[The Silent Cartographer]]'', ''V933'' doubles as the crashed ''[[Bravo 022]]'' - this is due to the map having used the same Pelican model.
*On the map [[Valhalla]], the Pelican ''[[Victor 398]]'' crash position is exactly the same as ''Victor 933''.

*In later missions, such as [[The Silent Cartographer]], the body used for Victor 933 is actually the second pelican which drops off marines. You can see the label V-933 on the side. And after you discover the location of the map room and you go out of the structure,you see a pelican downed (the one who brings in a warthog and some rocket launchers), if you see the label on its side, it actually says V933.
