*You cannot disagree with 343 Guilty Spark. The monitor knows well his rings' capabilities and what he says is true. So yes, the explosion would destroy the Ark 100%.
*Most probably, after the destruction of the Ark, the other Installations would have gone out of control, moving around in space, or even "eaten" by the gas giants they orbit.
*The Legendary Planet must be near the Ark as the rear part of the Dawn didn't go through the slipspace jump and therefore stayed around the Ark's vincinity. The other two questions are  mostly polls rather than knowledge.

* You can when all life in the universe is potentially at stake. "Destroyed" can have shades of meaning well short of "down to the atom". I'll grant that it's presumed permanent for now, but I'm not sure I trust the writers not to go back there eventually when they need a new threat. And there's still the Flood spores to justify the expedition either way.
* Orbits do not work that way.
* That would make the most sense, but it still bugs me that the planet isn't shown or mentioned before the Dawn gets split, and the Ark's remains aren't shown or mentioned after. And we don't know how much time actually passes between "Wake me when you need me" and the final scene. Basically an official answer would be nice. As for the other two questions, no idea what you mean.

Heh, there are not sources to all of this. If there were sources, the info would have been written down on our wiki. We just make logical assumptions.

Dude, 343 Guilty Spark does not take any side on this war, he simply wants to activate the rings to "contain the outbreak". the Ark is not an organism, so even if it gets "down to the atom", how is it going to recreate itself, especially now that all the Monitors will be out of control? Also, understand this: there will '''''N E V E R''''' be any sequels to Halo 3, so every use of the Flood will be considered canon as thrwe won't be any prequels to Halo: CE as well.
*The Conversations mention the Sharquoi along with other deleted races, clarifying that they are '''deleted''' and do not play any role in the storyline.
*Forerunner is the term I use to describe the race, but as major characters have also called them Forerunners, it is valid.
*NOBODY can know how the Flood were created, as said above I just make logical assumptions that try to connect on the info Halopedia and Wikipedia have as of now. MAybe, after the release of the Forerunner trilogy we get more info on this.
*Why only Derelict and Chiron and not Boarding Action, Sidewinder, Blood Gulch or Timberland? O_o They do have some map description as well.

:- If there's no source for a claim, then for the purpose of the list it's not a fact.
:- The Ark is a manufacturing platform for Halos; it makes sense that it could build parts for itself too. And the ring's explosion just doesn't look that powerful to me. Is there a source saying there won't be any sequels?
:- I have the booklet; it just says "soon we may be able to use the Sharquoi", not anything about it being deleted.
:- Agreed on calling them Forerunners.
:- That's a contradiction; if it gets revealed in the Forerunner trilogy, then we *can* know. Until then, it's an unanswered question, which is why it's on the list.
:- They're the only H1 maps I know of that raise interesting questions; the others are mostly just random locations on the ring. I'll add Boarding Action.

::I admit that you are searching about this a lot; and so, if there were sources for the questions you have written, you would have found them, and they would not be unanswered questions in Halo. Which means that you either accept opinions, or wait until more info is released in future projects. If differently, you will be just searching aimelessly for sources that do not exist.
