He was aboard a Covenant [[Assault Carrier]] after they retrieved a cryo-chamber containing [[Dr. Catherine Halsey]]. The ship was infiltrated while it was trapped in a magnetic disturbance by a group of Spartans led by [[John-117]].

As the [[SPARTAN-II Program|Spartan]] team approached their target, he was ordered to detach sections of the ship, and ultimately split the vessel in half, in an effort to stop them. As the back end of the carrier was scuttled, the magnetic field cleared and the forward half transitioned to [[Slipspace]].

*On one occasion, the [[Sangheili]] bridge officer refers to the [[Jiralhanae]] as "brothers" when the Sangheili commander orders him to detach sections of the ship. If the Sangheili and Jiralhanae display such strong hatred for each other then it is unknown why the officer would refer to them as "brothers" as it is a Sangheili term that only Sangheili are heard saying to other Sangheili. Of course, the officer may have been referring to other Sangheili in those separated sections of the ship, who coincidentally were not encountered by the Spartan team.
