''Glasgow Kiss'' was part of [[Admiral]] [[Carl Patterson|Carl "Buster" Patterson's]] task force sent to [[Onyx]] to retrieve [[Catherine Elizabeth Halsey|Dr. Catherine Halsey]], the [[Spartan-II Program|SPARTAN-IIs]] of [[Blue Team]], the [[SPARTAN-III Program|SPARTAN-IIIs]] of [[SPARTAN-III Gamma Company|Gamma Company]], and alleged [[Forerunner]] artifacts from the world's [[Onyx Sentinel|Sentinel constructs]]. During the first attack on the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] ships in orbit above Onyx, it moved to protect the flagship {{UNSCShip|Stalingrad}} from enemy fire.
