Operating from the bridge of the ''Gettysburg'', the UNSC forces attempted to destroy the cruiser with ''Ascendant Justice''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s one working plasma turret, only to have the turret misfire and burn off some of the ''Gettysburg''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s remaining armor.
