The ''Coral Sea'', the {{UNSCShip|Dusk}}, {{UNSCShip|Paris}}, and {{UNSCShip|Redoubtable}} were the only ships close enough to pursue the {{UNSCShip|In Amber Clad}} and the [[Prophet of Regret]]'s {{Class|CAS|assault carrier}}, ''[[Solemn Penance]]'', into [[Slipstream space|slipspace]]. ''Coral Sea'' quickly outran the ''Dusk'' during the chase, losing contact with the [[prowler]].{{Ref/Reuse|goo}}

Eventually, ''Coral Sea'' arrived at [[Installation 05]] in the [[Coelest system]]. To avoid being detected by the Covenant, the corvette hid close to Delta Halo's surface and spent a majority of its time scanning the installation. At some point, ''Coral Sea'' encountered a Covenant infantry detachment attempting to tap into [[Uplift|one of Delta Halo's critical power conduits]].
