Truth is a Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer map.[1] It is set aboard Undiminished Entelechy, a Covenant ship in the Soell system, with Installation 04 and Threshold visible in the background. The Fleet of Particular Justice appears to pursue the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. Multiple holograms, including those of Halo, the gas giant, and the Autumn, are visible on the map.
The map is a remake of Midship from Halo 2.[2] Truth has a few differences which include energy shield barriers on the central platform that can be destroyed by players,[3] and two small nooks above each base that can be clambered up to for stealthy access. The remixed version of this map is Regret.
Production notes[edit]
- Though the map depicts the Fleet of Particular Justice during the Battle of Installation 04, the Covenant ships are Hekar Taa-pattern blockade runners. The narrative conceit is that UNSC Infinity's War Games simulator places anachronistic vessels into the otherwise contemporary setting.[4]
- By standing near one of the holographic panels on the map, one can see a holographic projection of the Prophet of Stewardship.
- During the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta, the map featured the Prophets' Bane, giving the players the first chance to use the mythic weapons, which are ordinarily not found in Arena gametypes in the final release of the game.
