==Strategy==
===General===
*The Marines in the beginning of mission are fully upgraded with RPG and Combat Technician. They are the only units that can heal your units, so make sure to protect them.
*Create a shortcut when you establish your base by destroying the barricades to the south. The minibase early in the level will not be attacked since the Banished have to get through the UNSC base first.
**Try not to destroy Banished minibase east of UNSC's minibase first since you may not be able to deploy a minibase before you have a base of operations.
*Do not destroy the barricade south of the base until you have built up enough defenses. 
**Set up Kodiaks at the barricade with a Sniper to spot and bombard Banished forces behind the barricade.
**Consider destroying the northeast barricade and attack the deployed Blisterbacks from the back.
*Bring at least some Snipers, Hornets, Wolverines, Kodiak, and Nightingales as an escort for the Scarab.
**Let the Scarab tank the damage and keep a Nightingale close at all times.
*Quickly establish a base once you have destroyed a Banished base for faster reinforcements.
===Optional and Bonus Objectives===
*Although the bonus objective says, "Kill ''squads'' with the Scarab", enemy vehicles would also contribute towards the objective. Ensure the Scarab lands the killing blow on enemy units to make progress to this objective.
*Each individual building at the Banished bases or minibases qualifies for a base structure, so consider destroying each building before destroying the main structure.

==Trivia==
*The [[Halo Wars 2 skulls#Wuv Woo|Wuv Woo skull]] is awarded upon level completion for keeping the Scarab intact until the end of the level. The [[Halo Wars 2 skulls#Sugar Cookies|Sugar Cookies skull]] is awarded upon level completion for keeping the Scarab health above 25% until the end of the level.
*The Scarab on this level is not equipped with thrasher missiles due to the damage sustained in the crash and is therefore unable to attack air units.
*[[Orda Val 'Saham]], the [[Sangheili Honor Guardsman]] that appears in this level, also appears in a few of the [[Phoenix Logs]]. He is also the only enemy [[Sangheili Honor Guardsman]] encountered in the campaign.
