| Tenrai III featured an unspoken shift in its intended content. Instead of the Heaven's Gift chest armor and the Heaven's Cry shoulder pads, Tenrai III originally had the Japanese-themed Weathervane visor, and Wave Slicer shoulder pads as free unlocks. Ultimately, Weathervane would be released in the Cosmic Dawn bundle, while the Wave Slicer shoulders would be featured in the Otomosho bundle that launched with Tenrai II.

| The exact order of unlocks were able to be seen for a brief period on sites using ''Infinite's'' API to display unlocks and upcoming events, and the original unlocks could be seen in the customization overview image for Season 04, showing a yellow Yoroi-clad Spartan using the now-swapped shoulders and visor.
