Unlike the rest of the games which had standard, limited, and Legendary editions, Halo 4 only has two versions, only one of which contains anything more than the game. I don't really think we need a large template cluttering up the page on this to be honest.

:Halo 2 and Halo Wars. Also, I will be moving the content you added to its own article. — subtank 12:43, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
::I don't really like the approach a lot of people take towards article guidelines. Just because we do it in the past doesn't mean we need to do it in the future, a list of "NO's" is hardly worth including on a hub article like Halo 4. As for moving content to a separate thing, I don't think we really need that either. To be honest, I think we should make the Halo 4 page itself as best as we can possibly make it and plus, it looks good on the article as you scroll down. All professional and stuffs. :)
:::Abandoning standards/guidelines that was established from the past (hence, disregarding precedents) and simply apply "what you think it's best" approach ala "ignore all rules"? I don't think we should apply the "ignore all rules" approach to such extent; that should only be used in the most exceptional circumstances.
:::As of now, we simply using press statements. We can summarise these content by ourselves once we obtain the content at the day of the launch. It's not like that hasn't been done before; in other games, we've received tons of information from press statements and we subsequently replaced those statements with our own concise versions later on. Plus, Halo 4 Limited Edition should be an article for its own and it should have the most detailed content describing what the Limited Edition contains whereas the main article should only summarise it via a short paragraph and this template. :) — subtank 13:00, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
::::The thing is, nobody on here seems like they want to improve or add onto old standards. Making sure people abide by them is all well and good and I respect that most people, including myself, enjoy it. But if by referring to my edits that adds and improves the article's content, then yes...I do regularly "ignore all the rules." :) Well that's one way of looking at the page, but like I said, it looks really good on the Halo 4 main. Having to go to another page just looks ugly and too....ugly. But I agree that the LE-specific page should consist of more info, with the main inclusion of Halo 4 not noting any real specifics and a bit of a watered down approach, though nothing really to do with the length. Pretty much, just be as vague as possible.
:::::Hence why I initiated the Community Portal project page; to make sure that users are comfortable in the wiki so that they will feel obligated to involve themselves in the improvement of the wiki. It's working... and we'll see an increase of proposals in the community forum in a few months time soon... hopefully. :) — subtank 13:21, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
::::::Ron Swanson (Parks and Recreation) would be bewildered and disgusted at this wiki's level of bureaucracy lately. Ugh, guess I'll have to write some things now. :P
