Anyone know what the set of numbers at the start of the terminals are? I was thinking the date the cinematic takes place. Too many sets of numbers though. :::The numbers may not be timestamps as we understand them... They seem to correspond to specific log entries, categorized chronologically, with 343GS assigning each subsequent event to the Log Entry that corresponds with a certain set of criteria, starting with the moment when "343 Guilty Spark" was split off Chakas' original Ancilla matrix to become a Monitor for one of the Installations in the Array. Terminal 2 seems to indicate that he'd been operating in this capacity for about 3 years prior to being assigned to Installation 04. Based upon this criteria, Terminals 1,4 and 9 may be listed under the same Log Entry because Spark had determined that they share certain identical characteristics. Perhaps this Entry corresponds to events associated with "Sentient Proximity Warning" situations, or (queue conspiracy music) perhaps Spark found sufficient similarities between the crashed vessel & the Pillar of Autumn to group them together under the same log entry (Maybe they were both Human-made & Spark assumed that whoever accessed the Terminals would know that...Or maybe it's just because they both contained the same atmosphere & crashed into the Halo)  Terminal 3's Log Entry might denote his first contact with the Covenant, via the T&R's "Dumb" AI, which would explain why it was similar to the Log Entries for Terminals 10 and 11. Terminals 5 and 6 seem to relate to the alien vessel, post-impact. Terminal 7 is a little weird, probably because Spark was beginning to go Rampant during that Log Entry. Terminal 8 seems to contain random thoughts and musings that he recorded during one of his trillions of simulated firings of the Array. DJenser 17:35, 2 February 2012 (EST)

::::I found those same log entry numbers from HCEA Terminals 1, 4 and 9... On the bridge of the Infinity... There are a series of GIF files that play on the monitors scattered about the bridge. Most of it is inane diagnostic filler, but every so often ***THIS*** pops up... The numbers are the same ones that appear on those terminals that deal with Installation 04's first contact with the POA (044657.04.24.24.34.56)... == Jackal Heretics ==
The trivia notes that Jackals are depicted in Terminal 11, while not being encountered at all in Halo 2 with the Heretics. Could it be possible (as a point of discussion, I know there's next to nothing backing it up,) that the Jackals were entirely punished and slain for attacking 343?Ocean Soul (talk) 18:35, 10 October 2013 (EDT)

::Actually, the conversation in that forum went more like this (Paraphrased, of course):
::Frankie: "Red Herring"
::person a: "So best egg still hasnt been found yet?"
::Frankie: "Correct. As far as I know, anyway."
::person b: "Better than extra Terminals?"
::Frankie: "No. Just very different."
::So, based on that, it doesn't necessarily mean this "best Easter Egg" isn't related to the Terminals but, rather, that it isn't BETTER than an extra terminal... Just different. I think that the Numbers may hold the key to this Easter Egg... I admittedly made light of it over on the Halo CEA Terminals talk page, but the more I think about it, the more I believe that it is highly significant that 343GS logged his encounters with the Pillar of Autumn and Jacob Keyes (Terminals 1 and 9) under the exact same log entry # as his first contact with the crashed vessel(Terminal 4).
::The only other time that the Numbers match up exactly are on Terminals 5 and 6, and that's because those terminals deal with a single subject: Quarantining the crashed vessel.
::Each set of numbers could be viewed as a timestamp for a new log entry, prompted by a certain event (ship crashing, assignment to Installation 04, test firing of the array, destruction of his ring, early stages of rampancy, etc)  and any subsequent updates to that particular log entry would logically be filed under that same set of numbers.
::So why, then, did Sparky treat his encounter with the Pillar of Autumn & Jacob Keyes as an update to a log entry that originated some 55,000 years earlier?
::As for the 12th Terminal, all it revealed was a TV test pattern with a message at the bottom that went something like:
::For decades now, we have fought against an alien enemy that we can't comprehend. Completely unprovoked, they brought our very civilization to its knees, and forced us to go into hiding.
::This message obviously refers to Earth and the human race, their war with the Covenant and the enactment of the Cole Protocol. DJenser 18:03, 3 February 2012 (EST)
:::Shouldn't this be mentioned in the artcile?98.24.14.97 09:51, 4 November 2012 (EST)

If we would go to war with the Forerunners, or even the Precursors, we would get our ass kicked so hard.  A single Forerunner Dreadnought (not even built for combat, mind you), was enough to devastate a Tier 2 civilization.  So a fleets of Forerunner combat ships; versus 2 civilizations that just got out of a huge war, that are both practically destroyed.  The Forerunners would kick ass. They might be a little mad that John destroyed 3 Installations (04,04B,00) but neutralizing 2 separate Flood threats I think would earn humanity a pass, I think Tuckerscreator is right with the whole "allies against a new foe". :My take on the Terminals was that, a.) there is an alien intelligence that knows about the Halo's, and that we didn't see them in Anniversary because they're going to appear in Halo 4; b.) it's setting the stage for more Didact/Librarian characterisation in the Greg Bear novels, and drumming up deserved interest for the Forerunner Saga; and c.) that it's insinuating that the Didact at least is still alive, and that he might not take too kindly to human vandalism. On a side note, I belive the "Didact's plan" Spark refers to in Terminal 8 will be seen in one of the new books. For all we know, The Didact tried his plan at the last second and Spark didn't know about it because he was on the Halo. It may even be a plot point in Halo 4, since the Forerunner fleet made its last stand in the area that the Chief is drifting, but I doubt it. Anyways, this is an indirect connection to Halo 4 in that way because the books themselves have connections. If you pay attention in Red vs Blue, Vic, the annoying guy from Command, is posted at exactly where the first terminal is. Could this be a small homage to RvB? 180.156.116.36 11:39, 19 December 2011 (EST)

does anyone knows if it can be unlocked in the halo anniversary extras menu or is it just for waypoint?--SGP 22:35, 20 December 2011 (EST)

::I mean that if once unlocked with the keyboard thing on waypoint you can make it appear in the extras menu under the maw terminal... like if you had seen it in the campaing...--SGP 22:43, 20 December 2011 (EST)

What Happens to Guilty Spark at the End of Terminal Seven?
It appeared as if Spark was being split into fragments. Spark sounded concerned when he said "here it comes again." But I have no clue what Spark was referring to. Any thoughts? S.g.ali (talk) 13:25, 2 September 2013 (EDT)

Terminal Five
I'd save you the trouble and edit this myself, but I don't remember how to navigate tabbox extensions. Your info for Terminal Five is incorrect anyway. The elevator cannot be recalled to try the jump again. There is no elevator console at the top. Thought I'd comment here to prevent anyone else's time being wasted, thanks.77.99.77.240
:I assume you mean Terminal Six and made the necessary changes. The content is actually on the page Combat Evolved Anniversary/Six to avoid making a giant page. ::Quite right, there is not an elevator button at the top. That's why if you jump and miss, you're on the bottom floor and can recall the elevator. It is also for Terminal 6. Ocean Soul (talk) 13:48, 2 April 2014 (EDT)
