::I only meant they might the enemies as a result of some misunderstanding, like how they thought the previous humans were just invading them, but they were actually trying to escape the Flood. Them being allies would make sense too though. I could see it working either way. :My take on the Terminals was that, a.) there is an alien intelligence that knows about the Halo's, and that we didn't see them in Anniversary because they're going to appear in Halo 4; b.) it's setting the stage for more Didact/Librarian characterisation in the Greg Bear novels, and drumming up deserved interest for the Forerunner Saga; and c.) that it's insinuating that the Didact at least is still alive, and that he might not take too kindly to human vandalism. The Last Spartan meeting the Last Forerunner? Oh, to be a fly on the wall at that meeting. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 03:09, 2 December 2011 (EST) | :My take on the Terminals was that, a.) there is an alien intelligence that knows about the Halo's, and that we didn't see them in Anniversary because they're going to appear in Halo 4; b.) it's setting the stage for more Didact/Librarian characterisation in the Greg Bear novels, and drumming up deserved interest for the Forerunner Saga; and c.) that it's insinuating that the Didact at least is still alive, and that he might not take too kindly to human vandalism. ::The other thing we learned, that they showed over and over, is that Spark had zero knowledge of anything that took place outside the ring. So when he said stuff like all the Forerunners died in Halo 2, that was an assumption, but we all heard it as fact.
