:I don't know why we assumed it would be the Ark in the first place, given that Forge World takes place on Alpha Halo. Definitely change it. -- <b><font color=indigo>Specops306</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>Qur'a 'Morhek</font></i></u> 06:20, 23 October 2010 (EDT)
Forge world is NOT on Alpha Halo, or Delta Halo.
Description
Is the description for the map a reference to the Prophets, in that they wanted to know how the Forerunner devices worked? Phlum 14:27, 29 November 2010 (EST)
:I don't think anyone doesn't want to know how Forerunner relics function, so it could describe anyone really. -- <b><font color=indigo>Specops306</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>Qur'a 'Morhek</font></i></u> 18:38, 5 December 2010 (EST)
Forging
It says in the trivia that there is secret passage behind a deletable rock adjcent to one of the bases. Where does it lead? Also, how big of a forge pallete does it have? It states in the article it is large, but are we talking about the size of the Forge World pallete or what? If somebody does clarify these, that would be great. Lastly could somebody compare the pallete to the size of Forge World's, because "large" is a little vague? TJbrena 11:30, 6 December 2010 (EST)
The deletable rock leads into a tunnel, with another deletaable rock at that end and that leads to a already accesable area. Compared to forge world, it has mabey half of forge world, but still a lot with a budget of  8000. Jedizora 15:18, 22 February 2011 (EST)
Crashed longsword
Doesn't the presense of the Longsword mean that Tempest is on Installation 04, 05, or that the UNSC has encountered another Halo ring? I doubt the latter highly, so its likely Tempest takes place after the Fall of Reach. --38.104.36.170 14:39, 6 December 2010 (EST)

Deja vu
I know we had the exact same argument before about Forge World, but, is this map canon? As 38.104.36.170 pointed out above, the presence of the Longsword is a game-changer. This ring is either 04, 05, or 04B. It is not 04 or 04B because both of those were destroyed before a Longsword could get old and worn looking. That leaves 05. If we find that it can't be 05, than my conclusion is that this map isn't canon. :Aha! The Aegis Fate, the ship that traveled to 05, is a UNSC frigate. Those can't carry Longswords... ::Aha! The Aegis Fate was actually at the Ark with Forward Unto Dawn. We have seen no Longswords from the In Amber Clad.-- Forerunner 19:12, 13 December 2010 (EST)
:::Whoops. I meant In Amber Clad. The names get confusing. But still: It is the same class. I think we could assume the IAC doesn't have any Longswords as well. ::::I'm pretty sure it's been settled a good while back at Talk:UNSC frigate that Frigates are indeed perfectly capable at carrying Longswords. See this pic. ::::Your assumption appears to be based on "they can have them - therefore, they do". Besides, we have to think: Why would the In Amber Clad use Longswords? They had been undetected by the Covenant on their arrival and wanted it to stay that way. That was why they deployed SOEIVs rather than just entering the atmosphere like in the Battle of Mombasa and just sending out a bunch of tanks to help assassinate Regret. A Longsword would be unnecessary as they did not require any fighter engagements; bombing runs or searching - the latter due to them already knowing the location of the library.-- Forerunner 20:01, 13 December 2010 (EST)
::::I don't seem to recall any sighting or mention of Longswords at all after seeing them in the background in at Cairo Station. ::Never said that In Amber Clad did. It may have, it may have not. I was more correcting FatalSnipe's statement above when he said that UNSC Frigates can't carry Longswords. It could have if it wanted to. But I never said that it did. ::I just want an explanation for an ancient looking Longsword on a Halo ring. The most logical one is that the Longsword doesn't actually exist. Can we prove it? I don't want to drag in a seperate debate in the process. The only near-enough canon explanation is that it's 05. Or we could could go Doylist and say multiplayer as a whole is rarely hard canon. That's about it. 21:37, 13 December 2010 (EST)
You say it looks ancient, Phil, but I say it just looks pretty beat up. Have you seen crash wreckage? It's rarely in very good condition. As for exactly where it is, I'd say that its Alpha Halo before it was destroyed. We know Longswords were present, at least in orbit, and Bungie storyboards show Longswords escorting the Spirit Keyes and co. hijack from the T&R to Alpha Base. They're not canon, but they lend some credence to it. -- <b><font color=indigo>Specops306</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>Qur'a 'Morhek</font></i></u> 01:15, 14 December 2010 (EST)
I agree with you. This wreck is in very good condition considering it runs on rocket fuel and was probably heading extremely fast, but this wreck has worn paint and plant growth all over it. It reminds me of a picture I once saw of a WWII plane that crashed, but was found years later. I know this is pretty old but I think something should be taken into consideration. We don't know when this map is set. the Longsword indicates human presence but this could be set after the games and it could be on a different ring altogether--210.56.91.60 02:43, 12 August 2011 (EDT)
Installation 03?
Glasslands tells us that the UNSC has found Installation 03, and considering the inter-connectivity of information in the halo universe, could this ring be 03? Oni puts a research facility in orbit, and Halsey has been out of action for 3 months. Plenty of time for a Longsword to crash and look worn down. For all we know, Oni could have know about the ring before the Battle of Earth, obviously Oni keeps certain things very very secret. ProphetofTruth 00:55, 31 October 2011 (EDT)
:Interesting theory, perhaps this will be explored in future media. Though the radio conversation on this map seems to suggest the Human Covenant War is still going. It is more likely that this is on Installation 04 or Installation 05.--<span style="color:green">Lt.
