Then what are the shielded Sentinels in Two Betrayals? PX173 09:27, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Those are just normal Sentinels. On higher difficulties, some Sentinels seem to be shielded. There is a section stating information about Sentinels prior to the Forerunner-Flood War. The problem with it is that I have never heard half of the things stated. Where are the sources for this information, if any? XRoadToDawnX 01:10, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

The article states one or two shots from a carbine on the shields, and this is a bit understating their shielding. On normal, its almost right, where 3 hits will do it, but on legendary, their shields are reasonably tough, 6 hits to break them (5 on heroic). This puts them on par (close) with a stealth elite's shielding. Considering their agility, it can make them a pain to fight. This information can be added, but as I am not an experienced editor, I'd rather leave it to others. Quakeomaniac 00:45, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

Simply put; | |||
*The title, Sentinel Major, has been unsourced since the creation of the article. No source has identified the golden model as the Sentinel Major. As such, title is considered a fanon title unless specified by an official source.
*Combat strategy and tactics is the same to that of the normal Sentinel; the golden ones essentially sport stronger shielding system and weaponry. Players are only required to apply more pressure on the golden ones compared to the normal, dull grey ones.
