| ::The cause of this is the addition of flames to the Legend insignia. If you compare the two images, the fire extends beyond where the parameters for the Hero insignia would end. The Lt. Colonel, Grade 1 insignia is slightly smaller than the Lt. Colonel insignia, due to the inclusion of a grade bar. I don't feel neither statements are worthy trivia. What ends up happening goes as followed: fewer credits are earned from commendations (because there are fewer left), but more credits are given for game completion. So really, the number stays about the same.
