The [[Halo Encyclopedia (2009 edition)]] nicknames the [[Sentinel Beam]] as "the Phaser", and also "Ray Gun" and less appropriately, "Laser Gun", because of the way its firing beam looks, which I do agree, it certainly does remind me of phaser beam, but it reminds more of the hand phaser. The Focus Rifle, on the other hand, is similar in most respects, but it reminds me more of a compression phaser rifle. Anyone want to address this, maybe in the Trivia section of both articles?
